Four Chaplains Ceremony
   Mildred Strang Middle School teacher, Chris DiPasquale and 38 of his living history
Revolutionary Troopers presented the Colors for the ceremony in wonderful pageantry.
   Our packed Legion Hall was silent during the presentation of our Nation's Colors.
   Eugene Perotta, representing NYS Sen. Greg Ball watches the students file past.  Sen. Ball
issued Proclamations to our participating clergy members for their efforts in the Ceremony.
   The Ceremony was attended by 20 Legionnaires, members of the VFW, Yorktown Supv
Michael Grace, NYS Assemblyman Steve Katz, Yorktown Justice Sal Lagonia and fellow
Yorktowners.
   Our Legion Hall was filled to capacity with 125 persons in attendance for this year's
commemoration.
   Post Commander Al Laughlin, Mother Claire Woodley-Aitchison, Pastor Dan O'Brien,
Eugene Perotta from NYS Sen. Greg Ball's office, Rev Thomas Sandi, Rev John Bourcet, and
Rabbi Robert Weiner pose for photos after Mr Perotta presented NYS Senate Proclamations
to the clegy members following the Ceremony.
   Following the Ceremony, a Certificate of Appreciation was presented to Mrs. Agnes
Rogan(wearing green coat) for her donation of a bugle which played Taps for this ceremony.  
The bugle enables our Post to render honors to deceased veterans in Yorktown.
