Donate a Memorial Book

The Westchester Community College Library has set aside a special
section for the Westchester County American Legion.  The Legion Library
will order a book pertaining to the history of our County (including the
history of towns, villages, or cities within Westchester County), our State,
or our Nation.  Other books selected as a Memorial not pertaining to
history such as literature, music, art, theater, sports, or other will be
placed in another section at the discretion of the
Westchester Community College Library.

This lasting Memorial can be done by your Post for the minimum
sum of fifty ($50), or more depending on the book selected.  In addition,
if a Post has more than one deceased member in a given year, one book
can be dedicated to all those deceased members for that year.

Procedures for donating a book as a Memorial for a deceased Legion
member through the Westchester Community College Library can be
obtained by contacting the Chairman of the Legion Library:
Ronald Rose, 4 Stephens Lane, Valhalla, New York  (914) 946-4261.
